Monitoring of transportations of liquid rocket fuel is performed using GLONASS technologies

Federal State Unitary Enterprise Center of Operation of Objects of Land Space Infrastructure (Federal State Unitary Enterprise TsENKI) implemented the project on creation of a system of remote control of technical condition of means of transportation of components of liquid rocket fuel using GLONASS technologies. The project is performed at technical support of M2M Telematics holding. A system is developed by group of the lead engineers of the company creating industry solution GLONASS in the market of transport telematics and satellite navigation.

Specially developed system of remote control of technical condition of means of transportation of components of liquid rocket fuel has no analogs in the world on execution and quality characteristics of work, report in "M2M to telematics". A system is capable to work in a standalone mode not less than two years (without use of additional power sources) that provides the high level of safety of process of transportation of dangerous loads.

The hardware and software system of a system includes GLONASS equipment, a specialized software, wireless sensors of status monitoring of a load, the automated jobs for employees of the car maintenance and directly dispatching service created at the enterprise. The possibility of remote control of physical characteristics of a load implemented in a system during the movement, in particular, of temperature and pressure in a tank, allows authorized services to react most quickly to the arising emergencies. The system of remote control successfully functions in all territory of the Russian Federation and in Kazakhstan.

Transportation of rocket fuel according to rules of transportation belongs to the first category of dangerous loads. Solution GLONASS it is developed and implemented in pursuance of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 8/25/2008 No. 641 "About equipment of transport, technical means and systems by the equipment of satellite navigation of GLONASS or GLONASS/GPS".
