The aircraft constructing corporation MiG implements workflow automation

The Russian aircraft constructing corporation "MiG" completed workflow automation based on EDMS OPTIMA-WorkFlow.

Result

Now in a system more than 24,000 documents are registered, according to standards of the enterprise processing of contractual documents is completely automated. OPTIMA-WorkFlow is used in 15 structural divisions of corporation, 100 competitive licenses are purchased.

A system is implemented on the Oracle Database DBMS platform and implemented less than in five months. Specialists of Optima software company and also the staff of Departments of RAC MiG who provided with joint efforts seamless integration of the OPTIMA-Workflow platform with other ERP-the systems of corporation were involved in the project. As a result it was succeeded to create a common information space of the enterprise.

"One of important project tasks, – the director of Directorate of development and deployment of Optima software (Optima Group) Vyacheslav Lazarev considers, – there was a problem of "painless" input of an electronic document management system of RAC MiG in commercial operation without suspension of business processing of documents. We could perform quickly input of initial data and prepare OPTIMA-WorkFlow for full workflow automation in corporation".

According to the Head of the Moscow Department of Information Technology of RAC MiG Vladimir Zaporozhets, the implemented workflow system allowed to reduce significantly costs for processing of contractual documents with observance of all standards of the enterprise and to increase efficiency of an information access of officials. "It was succeeded to exclude completely risks of loss of documents due to storage them in the database having the reserve, regularly updated copies and a package of measures for data protection from unauthorized access (NSD) and distortions".
