Content

The data center "Softservice" automated Insit LLC company (information networks and technologies). The unified information system based on 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 allowed to implement effective management of profitability on projects on construction of telecommunication networks, to increase project implementation speed by 1.5 times and to plan business for a year.

Background

In the conditions of rapid growth of business the lack of adequate management tools began to affect more and more. The impossibility to manage finance to within the project led to emergence of cash gaps. The management made the decision to increase internal efficiency of work by creation, formalization and process automation of budgeting and management accounting of activity.

One of activities of Insit company − projects on construction of telecommunication networks. The specifics of such projects consist that they contain a large number of the interconnected blocks of works and there is a need of planning and accounting of a set of indicators.

Task

A system which would allow was required for the management of the enterprise:

  • collect information on actual expenses from all divisions of the company;
  • keep management accounting, financial planning and budgeting by projects;
  • keep planning and operational accounting of material, labor resources;
  • keep the cost accounting, make cost accounting by projects;
  • keep accounting and tax accounting.

As a basis for sale of management tools necessary for the company business selected the solution "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management".

As the partner the Insit company selected data center "Softservice". For project implementation the command consisting of key managers of Insit company and consultants of data center "Softservice" was created.

Solution

All main business processes of the company were automated. Now the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 system is used by financial and commercial services, production division, department of logistics and also the CEO of the company.

Result

The new information system allowed:

  • plan cash receipts and expenses to within a week and as a result to reduce cash gaps;
  • keep the detailed cost accounting and their analysis based on which the enterprise could lower a share of loan financing sources, in particular;
  • implement the technique of accounting of business activities of the company which is most corresponding to a real situation and structure of project business - as a result the management received information basis for acceptance of strategic decisions;
  • thanks to effective financial planning to increase project implementation speed on construction of telecommunication networks by 1.5 times;
  • implement management of cost value and profitability of projects, heads had an opportunity to control over income and expenses daily online.

"In a project deliverable subsystems were implemented: accounting, tax accounting, budgeting and accounting by the project for production divisions. At the enterprise began to plan activity for a year and also to make decisions on the basis of the actual data obtained from the managerial system "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8". We had an opportunity to control a status of the enterprise at any moment. Planning process and the analysis of the fact became managed and expected, there was an opportunity to manage costs and resources on the project. Regulated and accounting became as close as possible to specifics of the enterprise. Thanks to implementation of 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 there was an opportunity to manage business performance. Began to reflect marketing actions in the annual budget.
