StoreData companies ("The scientific innovation center") and DataDome (DataDome) announced the beginning of construction of the experimental platform — data center of StoreData_Eco in the Central Administrative District of Moscow.
2019: Protection system implementation Orion

2017
Start of a personal account for clients of data centers
In the spring the StoreData company started Personal account, service for work with client requests. Now everyone who uses services of data centers of StoreData has an opportunity to use the convenient instrument of communications with technical support services and other specialists of the company. The personal account works at a basis of the service provided by OTRS company (Open Technology Real Service): it allows to collect, to group and process requests from clients, including providing to the client simultaneous access for consultation with several employees at once. Thanks to it the client can see and trace all requests sent to technical support of StoreData. It is possible to learn about service in more detail here.
Upgrade of a video surveillance system
In July, 2017 StoreData completed upgrade of a video surveillance system in the data processing centers, having installed 32 new video cameras and video recorders. Updating of the equipment allowed to increase quality of video and to increase record term from three to five months, noted in the company.
During upgrade the analog equipment was replaced with digital by installation of two new video recorders and 32 Hikvision video cameras that allowed to increase quality of the recorded video. Besides, for each video recorder the volume of storage of records was doubled, now it reaches 16 TB. In turn, it allowed to increase storage life of video received 24/7 60 days more. Possibility of delivery of StoreData_Eco to one client
In December, 2012 the StoreData company working at the market of data centers offered an opportunity of delivery of new DPC of StoreData_eco entirely to one client.
The module StoreData_eco is the solution for those for storage of own information or information of customers it is already not enough to whom to rent one or several server racks, and the DPC with full-fledged engineering infrastructure and service maintenance is necessary. StoreData_eco ensures energy efficiency, safety and modern technologies for solving of tasks of clients, emphasized in StoreData.
The total area of the module StoreData_eco is 125 sq.m, the total selected power — 300 kVA. In data center 30 server racks of Conteg with technology of isolation of a cold corridor and one cross rack are set. In the module the modern technology of Schneider buslines for distribution of power by the hall is used, modern UPSes with high performance coefficient on Emersonserii NXA IGBT transistors and also a modern line of precision STULZ CyberAir3 conditioners are installed.
Among the StoreData_eco keyword parameters in the company called: DGU FG Wilson with a power of 400 kVA with a reserve stock of fuel for 13 hours of smooth operation; automatic system of gas fire extinguishing (ASGPT) on the basis of the gas mix "Freon 227"; existence of a node of access of MSK-IX; free and free input of a fiber line of communication to the DPC building; communication lines to communication hubs of MMTS-9 and MMTS-10; the round-the-clock video surveillance with storage of record within 30 days, a connectivity own video surveillance on all module; round-the-clock duty shift; operation mode 24х7х365. Systems power - and cold supply are reserved according to scheme N+1.
The area of the module StoreData_Eco — 125 sq.m
The total area of the module StoreData_eco for September, 2012 is 125 sq.m, the total selected power — 300 kVA. In data center 30 server racks of Conteg with technology of isolation of a cold corridor are set. In the module the modern technology of buslines for distribution of power is used, modern UPSes with high performance coefficient on Emerson IGBT transistors of the NXA series and the most modern line of precision STULZ CyberAir3 conditioners are installed. The DPC of StoreData_eco is neutral and open for cooperation with all telecom operators (on the platform not less than ten operators are provided).

Start of the project on StoreData_Eco construction
The project on construction of the experimental and industrial platform started in 2012 the General designer and the general contractor of the project for January, 2012 DataDome acts. As noted, the new data center will be constructed to the address Nizhegorodskaya St. 32 where now several modern data centers of the Tier 3 level constructed and serviced by the same companies for the benefit of the state and commercial customer companies already successfully function.
According to the project manager — the leading expert of the international level in the field of DPC and data storage Sergey Shurshalin, "in implementation process of this project we set as the purpose to reach reasonably good indicators of PUE [Power Usage Effectiveness — coefficient of energy efficiency, a comment of CNews] using the traditional equipment, but with more careful and attentive attitude to parts and details. It is supposed to use from the very beginning standard encapsulation of cold corridors, having included it in the list of the obligatory equipment (but without modulating this system then already in the course of work of the center), regulated section of raised floors, buslines instead of cables, LED lighting. Use of freecooling is not supposed, cold supply will be executed on a traditional compressor DX system, but with the most intellectual variable load control and dynamic monitoring and throttling of air flows in the hall".
In the territory of data center of StoreData_Eco it is supposed to use traditional uninterruptible power supply units with the connected function of the eko mode. As expected, this solution will allow to control power consumption within the platform with a limited capacity where the DRUPS installation is impossible.
Taking into account optimization of existing solutions by means of more reasonable design and implementation founders of StoreData_Eco expect to receive the result of PUE improved in comparison with standard indicators of data centers of the same capacity and with similar feature set, said in the joint message of StoreData and DataDome.
