Canon represents new model of a photoprinter – PIXMA iP3600. The printer differs in modern design and is created for users who need exclusive printing quality and advanced functionality.

• The PIXMA iP3600 model supports resolution of 9600 x 2400 dots per inch and uses printing heads with an amount of drop of 1 pl, created by Canon company on FINE technology, for image acquisition and the high-quality text.
• PIXMA iP3600 is equipped with new ChromaLife100+ technology which includes the printing head manufactured on FINE technologies, new ink on the basis of dyes and original photographic paper of Canon for receiving magnificent long-lasting prints.

The photoprinter of PIXMA iP3600 uses technology of five separate inkwells (black ink on the basis of a pigment, ink on the basis of dye of black, blue, purple and yellow colors). It provides an exact color rendition and efficiency as it is necessary to replace only that inkwell in which ink reaches a limit.

The device is distinguished by an impressive print speed of photos of professional quality: printing time without fields of a format 10 x 15 cm for PIXMA iP3600 is about 41 seconds. The printer is equipped with the double device of paper feed that increases a resource of paper and allows to load at the same time normal and photographic paper.

PIXMA iP3600 is compatible to the PictBridge standard for printing of photos from cameras of mobile phones and other compatible devices without use of the PC.

The software for improvement of quality of images

Easy-PhotoPrint EX software for the Windows and Mac operating systems is included in PIXMA iP3600 photoprinter delivery. This software is very convenient in use and allows to create albums, calendars and art graphics. Among basic functions – automatic correction of photos Auto Photo Fix which allows to optimize automatically images and includes function of elimination of effect of "red eyes".

Software

The following software is included in the delivery of the PIXMA iP3600 models:

• Canon Easy-PhotoPrint EX – the convenient software in use for printing of photos and such creative projects, as calendars and photo albums. Easy-PhotoPrint EX not only helps at type selection and the paper size, but also offers a new feature of automatic correction fotog raffias of Auto Photo Fix which analyzes the photo and executes automatic correction depending on portrait or landscape orientation. The Auto Photo Fix function is updating of function of correction of photos of Auto Image Fix and also provides automatic elimination of effect of "red eyes" with a bigger accuracy.

Compatibility

Canon PIXMA iP3600 also Mac OS X 10.3.9 - 10.5 is compatible to Windows Vista (32 and 64 bits), Windows XP (to SP2 service pack), Windows 2000 Professional (to SP4 service pack).

FINE technology

The indicator of durability of 100 years can be reached at storage in normal albums of the photos printed on paper of PT-101, PR-201, PP-201, SG-201 and GP-501. Besides, photos save color intensity within 30 years and are steady against influence of gases within 20 years when using paper of PT-101, PR-201 and PP-201.

Technology of separate inkwells (Single Ink)

The new system of separate inkwells with a new formula of ink provides expanded color space when printing PP-201, PR-201 and PT-101 in comparison with paper of PR-101. Inkwells of the reduced height do design of printers more streamline and modern.

PT-101 and PR-201 photographic paper

Canon expanded the range of original photographic paper and now offers the improved quality at lower price. Professional Photo Paper Pro Platinum PT-101 photographic paper with a density of 300 g/m ² becomes the leader in assortment of the offered Canon of glossy photographic paper while professional Photo Paper Pro II PR-201 photographic paper will replace paper of PR-101. A4 formats and 10 x 15 cm, and for large-format printers – the A3 and A3+ formats are offered.
