Canon PIXMA MX870

On FEBRUARY 1 2010 G – The Canon Company announced release of the new stylish multifunction printer "In total in One" for small and home offices: PIXMA MX870. The device with function of the printer, scanner, copier and fax machine has a high print speed and copyings. Connection on Wi-Fi and completely integrated device of automatic feed of documents is provided in it and also the Canon FINE technology is implemented that does this model by the ideal solution for printing of documents, web pages and photos.

Existence of WiFi means that one printer can be available from several PCs and users have an opportunity to print and scan on wireless connection practically from any point of the house or office. The Super G3 fax machine transfers one page of document A4 for only three sekundy*. PIXMA MX870 allows to save facsimile messages in an internal memory, and then on the USB drive. This function is very useful in cases when at the user ink or paper reach a limit.

Canon supports the commonly accepted standard of performance of ISO for precise measurement of a print speed and copying. It helps users to compare objectively different models when choosing the device. Simplicity of operation

The new improved user interface is provided in model. The upgraded control panel differs in simplicity and convenience, all buttons are grouped in functions.

PIXMA MX870 is equipped with the TFT display of 6.2 cm providing accurate display of images and menu.

Function of scanning in the documents Compact PDF creates files which can be 90% less, than at the previous models thanks to what it is more convenient to use them and easier to send by e-mail. At the same time the search capability of such documents on a key word remains. The new feature of Auto Document Fix allows to receive excellent, easily readable results of scanning at the expense of the automatic analysis and correction of different sections of the image.

PIXMA MX870 offers automatic two-sided printing as standard. For bigger convenience of users two trays for paper and separate inkwells at the expense of which the unproductive consumption of ink decreases are provided in model.

PIXMA MX870 is delivered together with the advanced software solutions, including Easy-WebPrint EX for intellectual and at the same time to simple printing of web materials and also MP Navigator EX for scanning and editing documents and photos.

Technology of photolithographic production of ink snuffled (FINE)

FINE is the unique process of production of high-precision printing heads using nanotechnologies implemented by Canon. Printing heads of Canon are created using photolithographic processes using the system of drawing semiconductors. All sections represent integral structure that guarantees the exclusive accuracy of the sizes and arrangements snuffled, as well as arrangements of the heater. Openings for emission of ink also form a photomasking method at the expense of what the pretsizionnost of their form and the sizes manages to achieve. Thanks to it the necessary amount of microscopic drops of ink is reached and their exact placement on paper is executed.

Auto Document Fix

Auto Document Fix allows to receive excellent, easily readable results of scanning at the expense of the automatic analysis and correction of different sections of the document. This technology makes high-precision separation of the text and images by the color analysis and determination of changes of intensity of color. Then these data are applied to correction of these or those zones. Correction includes selection of characters and removal of a background for the text, smoothing of points and adjustment of contrast/tone for images.

Connection on Wi-Fi

The connectivity on Wi-Fi therefore users can perform printing, scanning and facsimile directly from the computers **** is provided in all models. without use of the connection cable. PIXMA MX870 and PIXMA MX350 are also completely ready to net surfing through Ethernet-connection thanks to what shared access of users to materials in the local area network is provided.

The device is ready to use practically at once after power supply inclusion: the initial screen is displayed on the display literally in several seconds, and you can immediately get to work.

Mode of automatic scanning

The mode of automatic scanning is intended for high-quality scanning with the optimized settings by clicking of only one button. The mode of automatic scanning joins directly on the device, in software of ScanGear or MP Navigator EX. At automatic scanning the type of initial material, whether it be the text document or several photos is distinguished, and then permission is optimized, framing and image processing before scanning are executed. The scanned images remain in the JPEG format, and documents, newspapers or magazines – in the PDF format.

Function of scanning in the PDF file

Using the ScanSoft OmniPage program paper originals can be transformed to electronic documents of the most widespread formats easily. Thanks to a sensing technology of characters the necessary documents can be easily found on a key word, and the new feature allows to create the Compact PDF files which size can be 90% less, than at the previous versions of the PDF files.

Auto Photo Fix II

Auto Photo Fix II makes the analysis and editing digital photos using function of polyzonal correction, providing high quality of printing even of photos with insufficient exposure. During creation of portraits this system distinguishes persons then it regulates tone of skin and brightness. When shooting landscapes the contrast and saturation of flowers are optimized. If in the photo people against the background of a landscape are represented, the Auto Photo Fix II technology executes correction of both sections. Thanks to the software of Easy-Photo Print EX from Canon the Auto Photo Fix II technology can be used together with automatic function of elimination of effect of "red eyes".

ChromaLife100+

ChromaLife 100+ is the system integrating Canon FINE technology, original photographic paper of Canon and original ink of Canon for obtaining magnificent long-lasting photos.

Easy-PhotoPrint EX

Easy-PhotoPrint EX is the universal software for printing of photos, calendars and an album? century. It includes three main applications created for the PIXMA models – Easy-LayoutPrint, Easy-PhotoPrint and CD LabelPrint, providing for them the single interface.

Easy-WebPrint EX

Easy-WebPrint EX is the application which allows to select easily the necessary sections of the web page for their copying in the separate document and printings. Intellectual functions include a possibility of the automatic or manual choice of the necessary fragments and automatic change of their sizes for placement on one page of the document.

MP Navigator EX

MP Navigator EX is the complex software for management of the scanned images and documents with convenient editing functions of the PDF files, corrections and improvements of images.
