Single system of accounting of data on physically disabled people

For the benefit of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation the Prognoz company will develop a single system of accounting of data on physically disabled people.

It consolidates information of all organizations which conduct work with disabled people on medico-social examination, rehabilitation and social protection – both on federal, and at the regional level. Implementation of a single interdepartmental system will allow to collect in real time, to unify and analyze data of organizations of medico-social examination, clinics, hospitals, the prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises, social security authorities, employment services of the population. Thus, the accurate statistical accounting of all physically disabled people and also monitoring and assessment of results of rehabilitation services and expenditure of budgetary funds will be provided.

A system will allow to analyze the social and medicobiological reasons of disability, to estimate actions for its decrease, to create federal and regional strategy in this area. An important operating condition of a system is preserving of confidentiality of personal data.

Implementation of this socially important project is conducted according to the Concept of improvement of the state system of medico-social examination and rehabilitation of disabled people which main goal – to provide to people with physical restraints worthy conditions and equal opportunities for participation in life of society.
