All-Russian Research Institute of automatic equipment of N.L. Dukhov (VNIIA) VKS Projects (video conferencing)

The Oberon company – the Russian operator of services in the field of the integrated communications – announces project completion on implementation of a video conferencing in the All-Russian Research Institute of automatic equipment of N.L. Dukhov (VNIIA). In a project deliverable conference service in all territories of institute was provided.

Implementation of a video conferencing was carried out on the platforms "Novoslobodskaya", "Tsaritsyno" and "Moskvorechye". The complex of works included, among other, installation of the video server (MCU) by Polycom of RMX 1000 with connection to it of equipment rooms and program video terminals on three platforms. Also executive documentation, the Russian-language instruction for use of terminals for system administrators was prepared and professional training of personnel to technologies and systems management of VKS is provided.

Within large-scale reconstruction of IT infrastructure deployment of the IP telephony on the central platform "Moskvorechye" was already carried out. Implementation of VKS is a next stage of work on the way of improvement of IT systems of institute. Working in VNIIA of N.L.
