The IntelLex company started at the end of 2011 on the park of the covered cars of JSC VGK the automated control system for the UVP AS carriage park created based on Intellex Transportation Managment technology. For launch 8500 cars were given for management of a system. Possibilities of AS of UVP will allow to exercise control of all park of the covered cars of JSC VGK about 24,500 units. Start of AS UVP-krytye became first signs on transition of JSC VGK to management of all the carriage park using Intellex Transportation Managment (ITM) technology. Originally under management of a system passed 8500 cars from 24,500. The covered cars are used for transportation of the wide nomenclature of loads among which there are both food products, and the agricultural cattle, and construction materials. It imposes additional requirements on control algorithms. A system should consider information on earlier transported load and transactions which need to be made with the car before the following loading.

According to the head of department of the business analysis of IntelLex Ltd Dmitry Poreshin, start of AS of UVP is an important step in the direction of control automation by all rolling stock of JSC VGK. "Specialists of department of information technologies of JSC VGK and IntelLex Ltd carried out serious preparatory work before start. A system differs in high stability of work and rationally and qualitatively distributes empty cars under requests of consignors according to the set criteria. For control of distribution of rather small number of managers" — he commented on system operation start.

The Head of the Moscow Department of Information Technology of JSC VGK Zaytsev Sergey considers AS of UVP important competitive advantage in the market of operating by the rolling stock. "Implementation of AS of UVP will allow to refuse decentralization of management of the big park of cars and to organize a re-deployment of the rolling stock and giving to his clients, considering the most different economic indicators of work of cars. A system will allow to avoid a so-called "human factor" at departure of the empty car and will minimize losses from possible managerial errors" — he explained.

The EXPERT of UVP is created based on Intellex Transportation Management technology and implements number-specific control of the rolling stock. The hardware platform of AS of UVP represents a complex of servers on the Intel platform.
