Internal mail

The built-in mail module provides safe transmission of various system messages (notifications about the beginning or end of development, messages about the user's assignment to perform certain works, various kinds of directives, etc.), as well as transmission of messages from one employee to another as a result of document routing. The user cannot delete the message. Mail opens automatically when TDMS is opened, so the employee's sabotage or distraction when receiving it is virtually eliminated.

Search, retrieval tools

So that the user "does not drown" in the information flow, can quickly and effortlessly find the necessary data, TDMS has a unique set of search tools, including contextual search in the address bar, query wizard, event filter, mail message search, full-text search, dynamic selection requests that can be nested, parameterized and supplemented with program code.

On October 25, 2016, the press service of the CSoft group of companies announced the release of TDMS version 5.0.

This version implements the developer's main plan - the transition of TDMS to a multi-link, service-oriented architecture (SOA), taking into account the wishes of users.

There are five software products in the current version of the system:

• TDMS Developer (developer and administrator application),
• TDMS Client
• TDMS File Server
• TDMS Viewer
• TDMS (TDMS Application Server 5.0) is an application server.

The release of the server provided access and support for two types of TDMS web clients: the first is adapted for desktop and mobile computers, the second for portable devices (smartphones and tablets).

If you try to compare TDMS 4.0 and TDMS 5.0 purely externally, then you will find very few differences. But at the system level, the emergence of programmable server components is a revolution. We are becoming on a par with modern corporate platforms. It is no secret that our users have long gone beyond standard solutions for managing design production.
