Helios IT Solutions upgrades technology infrastructure of Nutricia company

The producer of high-quality baby food – the NUTRICIA company (is a part of the French firm Danone) creates IT infrastructure based on the equipment Cisco. In connection with construction of the new industrial body and expansion of the existing production capacities of the company implementation new and also upgrade and reliability augmentation of already existing IT systems is required. The HELiOS IT SOLUTIONS system integrator became the contractor of the project on creation of IT infrastructure. Having considerable experience in creation of complex IT systems, this company is capable to provide continued operation of the enterprise. As technology base the equipment Cisco differing in high characteristics, simplicity of management and reliability of work was selected.

In the project progress HELiOS IT SOLUTIONS implements the following solutions:

• the local computer network (LCN) which cornerstone the Cisco switches Catalyst 4500E and 2960S are;
• wireless network of Wi-fi of ranges of 2.4 and 5 GHz based on access points and management of production of Cisco company of them;
• the system of telephony on the basis of the Cisco Unified Communication Manager application;
• control and management system for access based on the solution Cisco Physical Access Manager (Cisco PAM);
• system of industrial video surveillance Cisco.

The created IT infrastructure gives opportunities of reservation at the level of architecture and the hardware systems, differs in fault tolerance and high performance. Besides, NUTRICIA considerably will reduce costs for management of the IT system: at emergence of problems specialists of IT service can address to the center of technical support Cisco TAC round the clock.

Though the project is in implementation phase, the implemented systems already completely met expectations of NUTRICIA company. The solutions Cisco increased performance and mobility of staff of the enterprise, increased the security level on production, simplified infrastructure management of the company. The installed system of unified communications will become a basis for creation of the single corporate NUTRICIA voice network in Russia, and the technologies used during creation of a LAN will be implemented also at other offices.
