The Volga customs authority implements the upgraded system of a video conferencing

NVision Group completed the project of upgrade and expansion of functionality of a multimedia complex for the Volga customs authority of the Federal Customs Service of Russia.

Solution

The conference room of the Volga customs authority was re-equipped for improvement of quality of holding meetings with connection of removed participants from 14 areas in the territory of activity of the Volga customs. The project is implemented NVision Group within the public contract according to the results of an open competition.

In the course of upgrade specialists NVision Group replaced the obsolete multimedia equipment and implemented the modern automation equipment expanding possibilities of broadcasting and management of audiovisual information. In the project solutions of producers are used Bosch, Crestron and Sony. In particular, the latest technology Crestron DigitalMedia 8G+.

This first-ever solution for transfer uncompressed digital audio-and video this on one cable. It provides high quality of content and reduces costs for deployment of cable infrastructure.

Plans and expectations

"As in the subordinated territory of the Volga customs authority there are 8 customs and 48 customs posts in 14 regions of Volga federal district, a modern multimedia system is necessary for operational interaction and adoption of collective solutions. Thanks to this complex, we considerably will increase efficiency of information exchange with territorially remote customs", - the first deputy chief of the Volga customs authority on customs control Dmitry Shmarlin noted.

Technical details

The system of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING) and collective information display, a congress system, the automated jobs, means of the integrated management and other components were a part of the set multimedia solution. The upgraded complex allows to hold sessions of a video conferencing of high resolution of HD, a discussion and broadcast of audio-video records for local and remote collective viewing. The video system provides automatic guidance of a certain video camera at turning on of the congress panel of the participant and manual control of each of cameras using the special digital joystick. At the same time the video information from different sources can be displayed on wall collective LCD panels and personal monitors of participants.

A congress system allows to connect to a discussion up to 40 participants, with a possibility of increase in their quantity to 250. Centralized operation by a multimedia complex is exercised via the single interface on the touchpad of the operator. Integration and multimedia switching are constructed based on the solution Crestron and the latest DigitalMedia 8G+ technology. It is the unique system of dissemination of audio-video data providing the channel of 8 Gbit / c for each input and an exit. The technology provides high quality of content - saves an initial format of signals and data transmission in an initial type without loss. For creation of a complex the equipment of Bosch and Sony was also used.
