During creation of a monitoring system of vehicles the DPC of MegaFon will be involved in the Samara region

The public autonomous institution "Regional Telecommunication Center" (RTC) made the decision during creation of a control system over movement of vehicles in the region to involve resources of the Data Processing Center (DPC) of MegaFon company.

MegaFon provides GAU of the Samara region to "RTTs" with infrastructure for effective work of a hardware and software system of monitoring of transport. Within the RTTs project places in DPC of the operator of a rack with the server and communication hardware. Also within the project MegaFon provides to the Public autonomous institution a fiber-optical communication channel and SIM cards for an aircraft equipment. Already now for project implementation it is transferred 1,000 heat-resistant SIM cards.

"Today MegaFon is the leader in the market of the Samara region. We have, perhaps, the most developed and advanced technology infrastructure. Using resources of 3G-network of MegaFon, the monitoring system will define location and utilization properties of cars and also to carry out other tasks connected with security of a transport complex of the Samara region. "The regional telecommunication center" became the first client of the Volga region branch for which the complex project – using technologies of mobile, fixed connection and services of DPC was implemented", - the first deputy director of the Volga region branch of MegaFon Levykin Andrey noted.
