UK "Northern Capital Gateway" implements an ECM system on the SharePoint platform

Northern Capital Gateway (NCG) LLC implements an electronic document management system based on EOS for SharePoint. Delivery and implementation are performed by Ofis-Dok company.

Solution

The project started in September, 2011 when the Ofis-Dok company won the closed competition announced by "Northern Capital Gateway" company for development of technical specifications on implementation of an ESM-system on the Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010 platform.

In November the customer announced the second closed competition on practical implementation of an ESM-system based on Microsoft SharePoint 2010 based on which the order for execution of works was received by Ofis-Dok company with the product EOS for SharePoint.

The delivery included the EOS for SharePoint system, the license of the options "EDS and Enciphering" and "Line Scanning" using network ABBYY Fine Reader Engine 9.0 option that provides stream input of documents from an unlimited number of jobs.

At the first stage of the project the Ofis-Dok company carries out pilot implementation of 200 jobs of a system. Further, according to needs of the customer, about 500 users will be connected to uniform EDMS that will provide an absolute scope of all jobs of staff of "Northern Capital Gateway" company.
