The system integrator the Beltel company performed a complex of works on upgrade of IT infrastructure of the state insurance company "Yugoriya".
Terms
The federal network of the company consists of 65 branches and more than 230 agencies working in 64 regions of Russia. A basis of IT infrastructure of Yugoriya are directory services and a mail system. Prior to project implementation the mail system of the customer included about 70 nodes — in each branch of the company there was own mail server and the gateway. Cost optimization on acquisition of the software for the organization of work of a mail system was one of requirements to a new system.
According to the IT strategy of Yugoriya GSC, information infrastructure of Territorial Departments and branches of the company was required to be simplified that, eventually, had to lead to reduction of requirements, the regional platforms shown to competence of IT personnel, and to centralization of management. It, in turn, would allow Yugoriya GSC to reduce operating costs by maintenance of technology infrastructure.
Solution
Within the project the architecture of a mail system and directory service is developed. According to the results of the project the insurance company received the modern information infrastructure corresponding to the business development strategy Yugoriya.
Specialists of Beltel system integrator developed architecture of a mail system and directory service, considering all above-stated requirements of the customer. At the second stage upgrade of a directory service to the Windows Server 2008 R2 level, a mail system to Exchange Server 2010 is carried out. Works took place on two main platforms of the company: in Moscow and Khanty-Mansiysk. For migration of other 70 platforms training of technical specialists of Yugoriya GSC is provided and also instructions and document templates are prepared.
At the moment in IT departments of Yugoriya there is a process of the description of the IT services provided to business, and formalization of requirements for their functioning and availability. A projectible mail system should meet perspective requirements for reliability and availability to users, noted in Beltel company.
Objectives
In plans of the customer — implementation of the electronic digital signature and enciphering for security of e-mail in the company. An integral part of the solution of this task is design of infrastructure of the public key which is most full satisfying to needs of the company.
