Gazprom Transgaz Moscow upgrades the system of uninterrupted power of the server hardware. The MERLION Projects company jointly with specialists of APC by Schneider Electric takes part in the project. Engineers brought into operation the Smart UPS VT UPS with a battery cabinet on the platform Gazprom Transgaz Moscow.

Solution

For project implementation the uninterruptible power supply unit of APC Smart UPS VT with a power of 40 kVA which provide the centralized three-phase consumer protection is used. It is the modular UPS in which the possibility of "hot" replacement of batteries and separate end-to-end input (bypass) is provided. Modular construction of batteries simplifies their service, if necessary battery life can be increased by forces of the customer. The model of rack execution occupies the minimum space thanks to consolidation UPS, the block of power distribution and additional batteries in one compact rack.

Specialists of MERLION Projects carried out works on delivery, installation and connection to network of power supply of the UPS that allowed to avoid idle times in work of critical business systems in case of interruptions in an electric power supply system. As a result of the carried-out works the Customer received reliable and high-quality power supply of the systems. In this all equipment it is operated in an operating mode.
