The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region starts operation of an end-to-end system of management

The Arkan company completed the project of retrofitting of an end-to-end system of management of forces and means based on technology of satellite positioning of GLONASS for the benefit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

Result

In total within performance of the government contract 2175 navigation and monitoring sets were delivered and set. Thus, the project implemented by Arkan company for the benefit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region is one of the largest in the Russian Federation by the number of the vehicles of police equipped with GLONASS equipment.

The management system for forces and means is intended for control of movements and a status of mobile crews and process automation of management of geographically distributed forces and means of law enforcement bodies. The module accepting signals of domestic satellite GLONASS system using which it is possible to keep track of the current location and a status of vehicles in real time is a part of a monitoring set.

In addition to control of movements the onboard set gives an opportunity to transfer the service information about a current status of task performance. Information transfer is performed on channels of a conventional radio communication using VHF communicators and cellular communication of GSM. Support of work in communication systems of digital trunking networks is also provided. All monitoring sets have disturbing buttons and are in addition strengthened by anticreeping security functionality. The aircraft equipment is compatible to the regular systems of the car and reliably works in a temperate and frigid climate.

The system of satellite monitoring of mobile crews of police is integrated with the centralized control system of Municipal Department of Internal Affairs dresses across St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region unrolled by Arkan company within creation of Automated information system of security of life activity of St. Petersburg.
