Digital Design Center of Technical Training (CTT)

The center offers the listeners rates of a corporate format where the specialized programs "ground" under the customer's tasks, adaptation of standard rates and also non-standard programs on a joint of IT and business enter. Besides, the open format – using electronic textbooks and technical resources "in a cloud" practices. Also the so-called demoseminara which are carried out often on a free basis are popular. Clients gain on them an impression about programs on the basis of which they make the decision on the order of the complete version of a rate.

History

2016

In 2016 the Center underwent basic changes and begins to work according to the expanded concept within which will offer new formats and training programs both for specialists of the industry, and for students.

Digital Design works with universities, inviting students to training in new programs of additional education: to an Internet entrepreneurship, information technologies and applied research directions. In technical service center the possibility of remote passing of rates will also appear. Besides, the existing directions will be upgraded for a long time: School of system administrator, School of developer, "School of the system programmer", – on which study the students and young specialists who showed the best results during the Olympic Games "Digital Design" or a work practice in the company.

Technical service center Digital Design has the license for the right of conducting educational activity of the Committee on Education of St. Petersburg, is the certified Microsoft training center and the owner of the status "The Silver Microsoft Partner in the field of Training" (Microsoft Partner Silver Learning). Partnership with Microsoft corporation provides exclusive access to products, information, training, technical support and many other resources.

2011

For 2011 100 training courses are conducted and 1500 specialists are trained. The customer base of Digital Design training center was replenished with thirty new clients in a corporate segment that demonstrates growth of interest in IT training and relevance of new offers. Among customers of technical service center of Digital Design in 2011 – St. Petersburg Bank, Kreakon, Johnson Controls, RIVE GAUCHE and other large companies of the Northwest.

2011 was third year of carrying out training in a remote format on the basis of a system based on Lync Server 2010 created and supported by the staff of department of the infrastructure solutions Digital Design. For this period in interactive groups more than 100 people were trained. In an internal corporate format last year 584 specialists were trained. Technical service center also completely implemented the program of internal training of staff of Digital Design planned for 2011: 91 specialists of the company improved the skills on the author's and authorized rates.

For last year in technical service center there took place ten meetings of Club of Directors of training centers - professional community of specialists in corporate training and personnel development which branch is the training center. The genuine interest of the companies allowed to offer a new form of holding meetings – a demo seminars on the hottest and burning topics; in 2012 they will monthly pass. The next demo seminar on the subject "Bases of Project Approach in the field of IT" will take place at the end of February, the number of registration of participants already exceeded expectations.

The fifth release of School of system administrator - the joint project of Microsoft and Digital Design companies created to fill shortage in the personnel market of the qualified system administrators - pleased with the progress: in three months excellent children are prepared, the best of eight "young frogs" successfully passed certification examinations of Microsoft and work in the different companies of the Northwest. Besides, last year based on technical service center IT university which integrated in itself(himself) the student's Digital Design programs – School of system administrator, School of developer and "School of the system programmer" was organized. According to Irina Mareeva, the director of the Center of Technical Training, such centralization will provide more effective management of educational youth projects.

In a partner moneybox of technical service center the new status from software developer for storage systems - AVRORAID companies appeared. The conclusion of the partnership agreement allowed to include the educational track focused on work with AvroRAID arrays in the list of programs.

In 2012 technical service center a number of new courses, including "The organization of effective interaction of IT and business divisions" (Service Level Management), "Bases of project approach in the field of IT" and a season hit - "Included in the List of programs the tablet for business – features of the mobile management". The last is focused on the heads using tablets for work in corporate environment for the purpose of task management, documents and corporate mail.
