Bank New Character

The universal commercial bank of humanitarian investments New Character (private company) is founded on August 9, 1990. General license of the Bank of Russia No. 370 of September 4, 1992 (latest revision of April 4, 2012).

Since 1998 had the status of the basic member of an international payment system MasterCard Worldwide. Since February, 2008 – the associated member of an international payment system of Visa International.

Was clearing bank and the participant of payment system of Internet banking of HandyBank. Bank had licenses of the professional participant of security market for dealer, broker and depository activity and also the securities management. The bank is a participant of a system of compulsory deposit insurance (SSV), the bidder of the currency, share and monetary markets of the Moscow Exchange, the member of NFA, S.W.I.F.T.

The Bank of Russia since November 27, 2017 revoked the license from the Moscow JSC Universal Commercial Bank of Humanitarian Investments Novy simvol the Bank is a participant of deposit insurance system. According to the reporting, on the value of assets for November 1, 2017 the credit institution took the 420th place in a banking system of Russia. The Central Bank also entered in bank temporary administration, said in regulator release.

In 2016-2017 "The new character" "was involved in carrying out doubtful transit transactions", the credit institution did not observe the law in the field of counteraction to laundering of income and to financing of terrorism regarding identification of the transactions which are subject to mandatory control. Besides, the bank did not provide to the regulator reliable information.

Earlier the Central Bank introduced restrictions in "The new character" for implementation of separate transactions, including attraction of money of the population three times.
