The management system for engineering data is implemented into NG-Energo companies

The NG-Energo company completed the main stage of system implementation of management of engineering data of Windchill PDMLink and the system of design Creo. The contractor in the project IRISOFT company

Tasks

Need for implementation arose in communication by business development and growth of requests from clients. The planned amounts of works required increase in efficiency of design department and set new tasks for the staff of the company. Of them became main reduction of a design cycle without quality degradation of works and ensuring control of technical and design documentation on support of projects on a production stage, installation and service.

These problems can be solved increasing the number of design department, however this way of development was not approved by company management.

Result

The solution implemented IRISOFT is already ready for active operation, and now the leading role in development of the project will be played by the staff of design department of the enterprise. The efficiency of the project can be estimated after a while, representatives of both companies consider. Statistically, the Windchill PDMLink system allows to cut by half errors of design and for 40% to reduce dead times by search of the necessary project documentation
