Transport monitoring system in "Elektroizdeliya Trading House"

On February 20, 2012 the Russian Navigation Technologies (RNT) company announced end of the first stage of the project on creation of a corporate system of monitoring of transport in Elektroizdeliya Trading House LLC, the largest supplier of electric equipment in Russia. In the project record levels of decrease in fuel consumption are reached. Economic and organizational effect still will increase to the middle of spring of 2012 when all are connected by the CU to a fuel control system.

Implementation took place at the same time in ten territorial representative offices of Elektroizdeliya Trading House LLC in six regions of the Russian Federation. During project 60 of the CU the enterprises were connected to a monitoring system of Avtotreker transport. Technical characteristics of the solution are almost standard: on the CU onboard blocks and sensors of engine hours are installed, information on cellular transmission networks is transferred to the corporate server of the Avtotreker system installed at the central office of the company, and on every tenth CU also high-precision AT-FLM fuel level sensor is installed.

The main feature of the project is that the monitoring system took under uniform control transport "scattered" on remote branches of the Russian Federation and before implementation working practically without systematic accounting and uniform management. From the beginning of use of the Avtotreker system the location, movements, a run and other parameters of use of the CU became transparent. For this reason even before input of a system in commercial operation, before the AT-Nablyudatel software installation (the automated workplace of the Manager) and user training, the total costs of fuel of all vehicle fleet decreased by 30%. And almost on a half of the machines equipped with high-precision fuel level sensors, economy exceeded 40%!

Plans of further development provide not only increase in number of the CU, connected to a monitoring system of Elektroizdeliya Trading House LLC. High-precision AT-FLM fuel level sensors will be installed on all cargo to the CU, and on passenger foreign cars nondestructive connection of the onboard Avtotreker system to the CAN bus is provided. Besides, there are plans of integration of the Avtotreker system with a corporate system of accounting based on solutions of 1C and also implementation of the typified solution of RNT "AT-Bezopasnoye Driving" which does not have analogs in the Russian market.

And though they were positive, the company had to pass through the serious tender which allowed us to be convinced that its developments really meet our requirements. And we needed not only broad functionality, innovation and reliability of a monitoring system, but also the fulfilled technology of implementing solution in the geographically distributed enterprise and also the developed network of own representations and the service centers for system maintenance in regions. Our choice was validated by both already received results on economy of fuel and lubricants, and all course of the project, clearness of the working schedule and lack of a negative impact for work of transport and the main business processes".
