VideoMost in divisions of Federal Service for Veterinary Phytosanitary Surveillance

The SPIRIT company, developer and software supplier for voice transmission and video on IP channels, announced in February, 2012 product introduction of Video conference for the organization of a video conferencing (VIDEOCONFERENCING) in divisions of Federal Service for Veterinary Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor).

The purpose of implementation was increase in efficiency and quality of acceptance of management decisions and also improvement of coordination of activity of central office and the subordinated organizations of Rosselkhoznadzor.

Specialists of department were faced by a task in the shortest possible time to provide a possibility of holding meetings of heads of central office and Territorial Departments of Rosselkhoznadzor. The task with success was solved thanks to implementation of the software product for multipoint video conferences of Video conference which provided high quality of communication with all Territorial Departments and was put into operation for only several days.

Project implementation assumed accomplishment of a number of special requirements. So, some territorial subdivisions of Rosselkhoznadzor and many other federal executive authorities are connected to unstable Internet channels with narrow band of transmission. Limited opportunities of such channels should not have caused quality degradations of communication for other conferees. Simplicity of the interface was the important requirement also.

After comparison of different offers, representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor stopped the choice on a product of Video conference of SPIRIT company. By key criterion when choosing the unique opportunity began to be connected to a conference without installation of any additional software on computers of participants. Thus, need of work of specialists in implementation for each territorial authority disappeared, and time of implementation was reduced to several days.

Testing of VKS of Video conference in the mode of the maximum load was held by Rosselkhoznadzor at an implementation stage. Now a system is used by department and allows to organize conference calls, planning meetings and discussions in the working groups in a few minutes.
