Vladimir Aleksandrovich Garyugin (sort. On April 27, 1950, Yaroslavl) — the Honourable railroader, the chief of SUE "Petersburg Metro" since January 29, 1990. Member of Public council of St. Petersburg, member of council of the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry, member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg.
Biography
Vladimir Aleksandrovich Garyugin was born in 1950 in Yaroslavl. The hereditary railroader who continued case of the father and grandfather, all life served on the railroad.
Graduated from Electrotechnical faculty of the Leningrad institute of engineers of railway transport in "Automatic equipment, telemechanics and communication on railway transport" in 1972.
Since 1972 worked as the electrician, the senior electrician, the senior engineer of the Leningrad-Baltic distance of signaling and communication of Oktyabrskaya Railway.
The instructor of industrial and transport department of Lenin RK CPSU since 1978.
In 1983 headed one of the leading divisions of the Leningrad subway — a traffic department. Secretary of party committee Lenmetropolitena.
Since 1986 — the instructor of the Leningrad regional committee of the CPSU, the second secretary, the first secretary of the Petrodvorets RK CPSU.
In January, 1990 the solution of a conference of labor collective on an alternative basis it was elected the chief of the Leningrad subway, having won competitive struggle of other applicants for this position.
Is the representative of the St. Petersburg subway in the International Union of public transport and association of the subways of Russia and the CIS.
