Implementation of QlikView in Actavis: complex analytics of sales
The ATK consulting group completed implementation of the QlikView BI system for the complex analysis of sales in the Russian department of Actavis company.
Actavis is the large international pharmaceutical company with the state more than 10.000 employees, enters in TOP-5 in the world ranking of the dzhenerikovy companies. Actavis in Russia specializes in supply of medicines for treatment of the diseases of the nervous and cardiovascular systems and also a broad spectrum of OTC medicines, most relevant for Russians.
The solution to implement a BI system in the Russian representative office of Actavis was caused by the need for the uniform instrument of formation of the operational, flexible and authentic reporting. High high-speed performance, ability to integrate with different data sources, the clear user interface became the main selection terms of a BI system. Also the specific requirement to the system of a business intelligence – a possibility of support of BI forces of small IT department of the company was. As a result, the solution of ATK consulting group for the pharmaceutical company on the basis of the QlikView system was selected as most suitable for Actavis business.
At the moment, data from MS Dynamics NAV, Siebel CRM, 1C, MS Access, the files Xls, txt, csv are consolidated in QlikView and the complex analysis of sales including data of the analysis of trends of shipments to distributors, sales of distributors and a remaining balance in warehouses is implemented.

Now requirement of all departments and divisions for a business intelligence is covered more than for 80%. The closest plans of Actavis – to implement job analysis of medical representatives on the basis of data of Siebel CRM, with calculation of complex KPI of representatives on the basis of these visits of focal groups, dynamics of sales, accomplishment of the sales plan by division, on specific regions by medicine.
