eAuthor CBT 3.3

The IBS HyperMethod company – the Russian software developer and solutions for the organization of e-learning, assessment and certification of personnel – announces a release of the new version of the designer for development of electronic rates and exercises – eAuthor CBT 3.3.

eAuthor CBT is intended for development of training courses, trainings and exercises. Even having initial skills of work on the computer, the user can set the training purposes, create structure of a rate and fill it with training materials.

The new version of the program allows to browse as the HTML page without publication of all rate will look. Now during creation of electronic rates it is not necessary to specify type of a media object, its properties are automatically determined, it is possible to use sound and video files, animation, the presentations and other objects in the SWF, FLV, F4V, M4V, MP4, M4A, FAVI, MPEG, MP3, DWF, VRML formats. In the designer of eAuthor CBT 3.3 new styles of publications, new question types and also messages of a feedback, both on specific possible answers, and on questions in general are added.

The designer allows to create the interactive managements, trainings, slide rates and educational and melodic complexes. The program offers at choice several standard pedagogical templates, modifying which it is possible to create electronic rates with observance of rules of creation of a training material. The program allows to break automatically long texts into semantic parts, to create the dictionary, to connect training materials by hypertext links.

Creation of autonomous systems of testing taking into account different personal features requires a minimum of efforts and time. The developed tests can be imported to the different systems of distance learning, for example, in eLearning Server 4G, and are available to network use.

The rates created using the free version of eAuthor CBT can be used only in non-commercial purposes. This version of the program allows to issue in addition the agreement of technical support and to purchase the license for commercial use.
