About the 10-year contract with Yota company for provision of services of DPC in St. Petersburg

The Linxdatacenter company, service provider of DPC and telecommunications, announced in February, 2012 the 10-year contract with Yota company for provision of services of DPC in St. Petersburg. The Yota company became the strategic partner of Linxdatacenter in St. Petersburg.

Yota and Linxdatacenter are striking examples of the advanced and high-growth projects in Russia today. Linxdatacenter in St. Petersburg was open in October, 2011 and became one of the largest and most modern projects of this sort. At the time of opening of Linxdatacenter it was succeeded to achieve success in fantastically short terms. In total in 3 years after the beginning of work on the project the new DPC could exceed strong contenders and to become the winner of the international award Mega Datacenter, DatacenterDynamics Awards, and by the time of start — to provide the serious customer base.

Yota — one of the world's largest and the Russia's first operator of the wireless mobile Internet 4G. The history of the company began in 2007 and developed enormous rates. For a year of Yota company it was succeeded to create the market of superfast Internet access actually. WiMax networks appeared in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Krasnodar and Sochi. In December, 2011 Yota announced start of the first commercial network LTE in Russia.

According to the contract, Linxdatacenter will provide Yota companies a range of services of DPC. Cooperation with Linxdatacenter will help Yota company to provide technology base for successful development in the region and expansions of LTE communication in Russia. Regarding project tasks the main are: creation of the consolidated data center with the level of reliability of Tier 3, creation of Laboratory and telecommunication base and also providing a necessary reserve for the subsequent development and placement of the equipment of Yota company. As a result of Linxdatacenter developed and implemented the project on placement of a zone of Laboratory, a special zone for providing the main services and placement of the equipment of the company, including a possibility of the subsequent expansion to 100 racks. Use of the international examination of Linxdatacenter and modern solutions of DPC provided high technology level of the project.
