TomskNIPIneft (Microsoft SharePoint 2007)

Within the project for TomskNIPIneft institute, the Technologika company finished the built-in search mechanism of SharePoint 2007.

By default search on the SharePoint 2007 portal is run only by exact coincidence of a key phrase, at the same time there is no opportunity to run for search in the separate words of a phrase and also their word forms. Because of the imperfect search system process of search of necessary documents took away a lot of time from the staff of institute.

During the project specialists of Technologika company implemented a search capability by separate words and their word forms. At the same time search is performed both on document attributes, and on its contents. It considerably increased efficiency of corporate search in TomskNIPIneft and allowed employees to reduce significantly search time of the necessary documents that has a positive impact on labor productivity.
