NTV Broadcasting Company starts the espluatation upgraded IT infrasturktury on the platform of solutions Cisco

The BELTEL system integrator constructed IT infrastructure of the new office building of NTV Broadcasting Company using the equipment Cisco.

In the project progress it was important to provide integration of newly created infrastructure with already existing communications in premises of NTV and a scaling option of proposed solutions on new office and production areas of TV company.

SCS ARE A LAN

The built local computer network has two-level design, between a core and stacks of floor switches reservation of channels of data with speeds of 10 Gbit/c is used. The high-performance multilevel Cisco switch Catalyst 6500 is the center of a LAN. It has function of reservation of managing modules, the interface payments and power supplies. For consolidation of switches in a stack from speed of 64 Gbit/c the Cisco switch Catalyst 3750-X is used. It supports technology 10 Gigabit Ethernet, has the high density of ports and low indicators of delays, provides power supply of external devices (IP phones and IP video cameras) on modern PoE technology.

For infrastructure management of a LAN the CiscoWorks LAN Management Solution system is used.

Video surveillance

Due attention is paid also to physical security of the office building of NTV Broadcasting Company. The system of security video surveillance is constructed based on the multiservice Cisco platform. In its basis the software module of Cisco CVS Media Server is used. It performs collecting and routing of flows of video from signal sources, storage of a video information and its distribution to jobs. The module Cisco Video Surveillance Operations Manager is used to a remote configuration of the equipment and control of cameras. Observation of inputs to the building of NTV is performed using the dome Cisco 5000 IP video cameras having the big range of scaling of the image and allowing to trace impressive space. For security of visitors and staff of TV company on ladders, corridors, lift halls of all floors and a socle the cameras Cisco 4500 are mounted. These solutions are used also for implementation of observation of building perimeter – entrances, parkings and gate. The image from all IP video cameras is transferred to command center. Operators at the workstations have an opportunity to control both all video surveillance system, and any its parts. For representation of general information the videowall under control of the module Cisco CVS Virtual Matrix is used.

Results

NTV Broadcasting Company received the modern, scalable, functional and reliable IT infrastructure which is completely integrated with already existing IT system.
