The northern (Arctic) federal university implements a monitoring system and performance managements of university

At the Northern (Arctic) federal university of M.V. Lomonosov the monitoring system of effectiveness and efficiency of activity of university becomes effective. The solution implemented by specialists of IBS company is directed to increase in management efficiency.

Solution

During the project passports of indicators/indicators of activity of the university are created, methodical recommendations for accountable structures about formation and measure calculation are developed, the data collection system from the accountable structures and report generation regulated by the Ministry of Education and Science, and not regulated reports is implemented training of end users and administrators is provided, normative and procedural bases for operation and development of a system are developed.

Objectives

In plans of heads of the university to provide collecting necessary given and formation from uniform storage of a packet of account: reports on scientific activity, reports on forms of statistical observation, reports on the forms provided in the central bank of data of the state accreditation.

Despite the objective difficulties accompanying the project (works were conducted during merge of a number of universities and colleges in the uniform university), it is implemented in the planned terms. The system put in operation consists of modules of monitoring of implementation of actions/projects, collecting of the reporting, report generation and also the module of the monitor of the rector. At the moment in a system 65 people work, and in the long term 150 people will become its users.

Result

The created system covered a number of the educational institutions which are earlier integrated in a uniform circuit in the course of creation of the Northern (Arctic) federal university (SAFU) and located in the cities of Arkhangelsk, Severodvinsk and Koryazhma.

According to the director of the Program of development of the Northern (Arctic) federal university Yury Kudryashov "The new project became logical continuation of progress of our university on the way of improvement of a management system. From the beginning of system operation time and resource expenditure on creation of the reports used for the operational analysis of activity of the university decreases the risk of providing malformed data in different control bodies is reduced, the general increase in process performance of management of the university is provided".
