X5 Retail Group leaves service of DPC in outsourcing

The Asteros company implements service maintenance of data center of the largest retail network X5 Retail Group.

Background

At the end of 2010, as a result of a victory in tender of Asteros took service of data center of the company in outsourcing. Within a year specialists of Asteros provided high-quality technical support of the engineering systems of DPC of X5 Retail Group according to the set SLA.

Solution

During 2012 specialists of Asteros will continue service of DPCs of systems, important for ensuring functioning: fire extinguishing systems, power supply, conditioning, diesel generator sets, uninterruptible power supply units. Within the project engineers make planned replacement of necessary supplies and setup of systems, provide maintenance of an engineering complex in case of approach of emergency situations.

Opinion

"Reliable functioning of all critical applications of the company and business in general depends on smooth operation of data center. Therefore we imposed high qualification requirements to the outsourcer. Last summer, when in Moscow there was an abnormal heat, engineers of Asteros did everything possible that the data center sustained loading. And we managed to avoid failures in work of systems.
