The IFS company updated the Sales & Marketing component which is introduced into the CRM block of family of business applications IFS Applications.
According to Dan Mettyyuz (Dan Matthews), the director of IFS technologies, the new version of the CRM system is based on Microsoft .NET technologies and architecture of plug-in. The design of the interface is approximate to the latests version of the products Microsoft Office now and is expanded due to adding of several new opportunities for performance improvement of work in a system.
Among the innovations listed by the developer - means for flexible configuration of methods of representation (visualization) of data and report settings using the preconfigured key indicators (for example, for the analysis of sales).
Configuring of a system is more open for users now, and they will be able independently to make a considerable part of settings, without participation of IT specialists. At the same time, allegedly, the architecture of the software product provides full compliance with the business rules and restrictions put in a system in the field of security even for the business processes added or changed by users.
According to the developer, the company tried to consider the experience of the clients accumulated by them during use of a system and testing of the new, appeared in October of last year IFS Aurora interface. Besides, in the new version of CRM integration into other applications of the IFS Applications family and also into the Lotus Notes applications is strengthened.
According to Dan Mettyyuz, the new release of IFS Sales & Marketing allows to integrate in real time the front - and back office data for obtaining the broad information picture and for data analysis in the field of management of finance, projects, services and other fields of activity.
