Sberbank is building a "new cyberspace for business and society"

Payments, money transfers, the formation of electronic demand and supply for goods and services have become as everyday as communication between Internet users through social networks and e-mail. Moreover, recently, electronic platforms have become the main place for the formation of the political consciousness of citizens. "

Project objectives

Sberbank, as the largest banking institution in the post-Soviet space and in Eastern Europe, has all the necessary resources to act as a conductor of these processes, Orlovsky notes. In this direction, Sberbank has developed and is ready to implement a new business project "Business Environment" (DS), focused on the development of innovative technologies in business and in the socio-cultural spheres of Russian society.

"The industrial implementation of the Business Environment project will be evidence of the formation of a new business-oriented social architecture for Russia, in which the interests of entrepreneurs, consumers, the state and the bank itself will be closely integrated," promises Victor Orlovsky.

"The Business Environment project is a unique program for creating a comprehensive infrastructure and building a technologically new cyberspace for Russian business and society," he adds.

Project objectives

The main task of the project, according to Victor Orlovsky, is the development of entrepreneurship, the formation of it as a socially significant class: "In this process, the DS implements its functions as a sherpa (or conductor) for small businesses and entrepreneurs."

For the bank, DS is a tool for attracting new customers and partners, as well as modernization and reengineering of banking processes. The classic settlement function can be saved for a bank through its own Business Environment system. New sales and customer service channels appear for the bank, indirectly, through the bank's capital, and other non-banking functions are being implemented. "

For business, the DS program is new clients, partners, consumers, a source of operational information, service services related to consulting and maintaining accounting, tax, audit, financial and analytical reports, documents and materials.

"The DS project will eliminate the presence of a variety of" parasitic "intermediary links in the manufacturer - supplier - consumer chain. This is provided for by the mechanisms themselves for attracting clients to the DS program through mutually beneficial discounts, which will make speculative intermediary functions unprofitable, "Orlovsky notes.

Potential Project Audience

As a wide target audience of the DS project, according to Orlovsky, "it is predicted to attract not only executive representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, but also top managers of large companies, generals of Russian business."

Practical implementation

The Business Environment portal was launched in June 2012 at dasreda.ru. It is a virtual "supermarket" for access to all the necessary services during the launch and development of the business. As of June 2012, the portal presents a number of online services developed by SKB Kontur: the accounting application Elba, Kontur Fokus, designed for express verification of counterparties using official open sources of information, as well as the reference and legal system "Standard."

Also, one of the first services that Sberbank will launch under the Business Environment program will be a SaaS distance learning service for clients/potential clients of the bank.

Sberbank is also negotiating the placement of online services with the developers of the online accounting department My Business and the cloud service for business automation Megaplan.
