The KVM extender Velocitykvm System – 24 uses the MRTS technology providing width of the channel in 6.25 Gbit / c. This channel provides transfer of the DVI signal without compression together with signals of KVM on distance to 10 kilometers. The technology allows to transmit video a signal without compression, loss of chromaticity and frames. Besides, all connected peripheral devices will work without delay that does this KVM extender suitable for application in the wide list of spheres: telecasting, post-production professional processing of audio and video, situational kommandno-control centers, universities, big systems of broadcasting of public information.

Velocitykvm System–24 consists of a system the transmitter/receiver which can be easily set and are at once accepted to operation. Depending on the user's infrastructure the transmitter and the receiver can be connected by a single-mode or multimode fiber optic cable. The transmitter is connected to the computer using the special cables which are included in the delivery. On the transmitter there are additional ports for connection of the local keyboard, a mouse and the monitor. The receiver provides connection and signal transmission of control devices with the computer and the monitor.

Using standard SFP+ transceivers, a system allows to use both a multimode, and single-mode fiber optic cable. Velocitykvm Extender–24 in a multimodal configuration requires use of three fiber optic cables. On one selected cable videos signals and signals of USB, and on the third — the return USB a signal and DDC are transmitted. Information of DDC (Display Data Channel) or EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) is transferred to the computer from a special zone of a transmitter memory Thinklogical or from the monitor which is locally connected to it. Besides, the transmission function of a signal of DDC from the remote monitor was added. Multimodal models are available with SC, ST or the connectors LC.

Velocitykvm System – 24 supports also a possibility of use of a single-mode cable. The standard quantity of cables – 3, however, are models with smaller number of cables. For the single-mode version SC/APC (Angle Polished Connector) which will provide maximum capacity are recommended.
