JSC IDGC Holding completed implementation of mobile office solution for top management and heads of divisions

CORUS Consulting company in cooperation with ID-Management Technologies implemented the solution "Mobile Office of the Head" in JSC IDGC Holding. The solution is integrated from EDMS on the EMC Documentum platform.

Solution

The application is adapted for work on iPad tablets of versions 1-3, has facilitated and the intuitive interface and allows heads to work as online, and without Internet connection (off-line) with the documents which are already downloaded on iPad.

Task

The implementation purpose – to provide to top managers and chiefs of structural divisions IDGC Holding the high level of mobility and efficiency in work with documents. Considering that both companies are holdings with complex geographically distributed structure, for effective interaction of all divisions very important that work with documents took place with the minimum delays. Besides, application of "Mobile office of the head" will allow to level partially a difference between working time of the structural divisions located in different time zones.

Opinion

"Creating "Mobile office of the head", we considered all features of mobile work: need of simple and intuitive interaction of the user with a system, failure from the excess options which are slowing down and complicating work. For the solution of a task the user should do a minimum of transactions and spend on it time minimum. Such approach was repaid – "The mobile office of the head" is popular today not only our clients, but also partners.
