Quality Planning Environment (QPE) (QPE 2012)
The Siemens PLM Software company, division of Siemens Industry Automation Division, software supplier and services for product lifecycle management, announced in March, 2012 release of the version of 2012 of software of Quality Planning Environment (QPE) (QPE 2012). The product is developed by the Vistagy company purchased by Siemens on December 7, 2011 and which is commercial division of Siemens PLM Software.
The new version of software of QPE used for plan development of quality control of aviation constructions allows the main producers OEM and suppliers to automate process of determination of technical characteristics and their transfer in plans of certification of the first sample, providing the accelerated, facilitated and more exact method in comparison with a traditional technique.
Application of QPE saves up to 90 percent of time which is required for plan development of quality control of metal and composition parts and nodes. The program facilitates auto eject of the corresponding project characteristics from 3D models, provides control of transfer of characteristics from 3D models in plans of quality control and also creates documentation in various formats, such as Excel and PDF, according to AS9102 standards.
