KAMAZ + DPC of GAU IT park (Tatarstan)

Without waiting for start of technopark in the territory in Naberezhnye Chelny, KAMAZ moves IT systems to the similar platform in Kazan. In four years of service IT park in the capital of Tatarstan will receive more than 90 million rubles from mechanicians.

KAMAZ signed the agreement with Kazan IT park on transfer of the servers and software in the DPC located in the center of the capital of the republic. Engineering enterprise is in Naberezhnye Chelny. The total cost of the contract for four years as told CNews in IT park - a little more than 90 million rubles. The signatures under the contract in the presence of the minister of informatization and communication of the republic of Nikolai Nikiforov were delivered by the director of technopark Dinar Nasyrov and the director of the center of information and communication technologies of KAMAZ Mikhail Nosov.

In 2012 the plant will transfer all the main business systems to the Kazan DPC. First of all 1C and Microsoft (the Exchange mail server, the SharePoint portal, and Lync communicator) are about SAP BI (Business Intelligence is a business intelligence, the former Business Objects), SAP SCM (Supply Chain Management - logistics management). Works on transfer of information systems are already begun, declared the parties. Now the total number of users of the moving systems at the enterprise is estimated at 5 thousand people and expect that by 2015 it will increase up to 15 thousand.

Mikhail Nosov explained CNews that transfer only by SAP on the HP platform is physically executed. "Other range (Exchange, SharePoint portal, Lync, 1C, SAP of a metallurgy sector - before KAMAZ-Metallurgiya) undertakes us in the form of services under which infrastructure is deployed by technopark", - he says. The purpose of the program within which there is a migration Nosov calls standardization of the applied platforms, decrease in a share of the inherited systems, their reengineering and transfer to the root commercial systems of the enterprise.

To KAMAZ in data center of IT park 70 virtual and physical servers and also 50 TB for data storage will be selected. "Service the equipment, operating systems, software for virtualization and the technopark will execute backup, - Nosov describes separation of roles. - Support of business software at this stage remains an area of responsibility of KAMAZ and partners among whom both vendors, and consultants". "Further cooperation regarding high-level service is considered by forces of our specialists", - add in IT park.

Such large-scale transfer by the enterprise of the equipment and data for Russia is a precedent now. Let's remind that recently on servers of MegaFon in Yekaterinburg decided to give software (first of all electronic document management on Documentum) Perm Krai. In case of the region the contract more than 111 million rubles is signed for three years, i.e. at cost it is slightly higher than the agreement between KAMAZ and IT park.

Installation of SAP at mechanicians from Naberezhnye Chelny which migrates to Kazan now, is quite famous. In March, 2011 the first deputy director of the enterprise Yury Klochkov said that three years of works on implementation of this production management system cost to KAMAZ approximately 300 million rubles. Then part in the fate of the German software was taken by the president of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov who said that this site will become a polygon for training of SAP of regional ministers.

The largest shareholder of KAMAZ is the Rostekhnologii state corporation (49.9% of stocks of group). Also Troika Dialog (27%), Daimler (11%) and the EBRD (4%) own packets.

As for IT park, it is the project of the government of Tatarstan. It is interesting that it builds other technopark directly in the territory of KAMAZ in Naberezhnye Chelny now. The DPC of IT park includes two zones of placement of information systems – state and commercial. In the first there are resources of federal and republican state agencies, in the second - servers of the resident companies of technopark and the equipment of commercial enterprises and banks.

On the next stage of the project as told CNews in IT park, the parties plan "creation of the disaster-proof solution assuming placement of server capacities of KAMAZ on different platforms". Also assessment of economy which is expected by KAMAZ as a result of moving is called - it is 57 million rubles only on the equipment, without electricity metering and the engineering equipment (conditioners, etc.).
