On March 20, 2012 IBM presented three new solutions of Smarter Analytics Signature Solutions for identification of the facts of fraud, risks assessment and the analysis of a consumer behavior. By estimates of IDC, company will spend over $120 billion till 2015 for the hardware-software solutions and the accompanying services directed to detection of the hidden patterns in "Big Data".
- The solution Anti-fraud, Waste & Abuse is designed to detect in real time the fraud facts connected with tax avoidance and insurance payments thereby preventing unauthorized payments of money. Besides, the relevant services of insurance companies and public services will receive optimal recommendations about further permission of the arising incidents. At insignificant violations they can be limited to sending the letter with the requirement to return payment, at more serious – the offer to make full investigation arrives.
- The solution Next Best Action should help the companies to know better the clients and to build up with them more informative mutually beneficial relations. It will be able to analyze not only the data which are saved up in a corporate CRM system but also information from external sources, in particular, of social networks. As it appears from the name, the code of recommendations about further actions depending on preferences and behavior model of an individual client will become result of work.
- Extremely high growth rates of volumes of financial information in the companies, – according to IBM, at the level of 70% a year became premises for creation of the solution CFO Performance Insight. New analytical tools allow to consider financial showed previous years, to carry out modeling by the principle "that if" and on the basis of data retrieveds to build forecasts.
The presented solutions include various products of IBM and service of division of Global Business Services (GBS). For example, Anti-Fraud, Waste & Abuse combines software of predictive analytics of IBM SPSS, iLog for management of rules, the integration WebSphere platform and the data warehouse of Netezza. In the solutions CFO Performance and Next-Best Action the predominating role belongs to IBM Cognos, and in the latter case business and analytical software works in a close sheaf with InfoSphere Big Insights – the platform built based on Apache Hadoop.
