2014 - forecast
By 2014 the world size of the market of business process management (VRM — business process management) will be nearly $11 billion, having shown growth in 16%, IDC predicts. Even in the conditions of global crisis more than a third of the companies did not cut down expenses on BPM, and 29% though reduced costs in general, but continued to develop systems.
Business globalization, numerous merges and absorption among the Russian companies impose special requirements to business process management without which the enterprises lose efficiency. Tools of the description, optimization and process automation come under the spotlight of businessmen.
Analysts of IDC note that almost in every fourth Russian company all processes are described and in 60% of the companies key processes are described. The industries where all business processes — oil and gas are most often described (44%), production of TNP (41%) and trade (25%). The most backward industries where the share of the companies only planning the description of BP exceeds mean value in 8%, transport and logistics (19%), a public sector (19%) and power and housing and public utilities (12%) are. At the same time most the companies in Russia in 2011 realized need of the description of business processes.

In 2012, by Forrester estimates, the market of BPM made $4.4 billion, and by 2016 will exceed $7.5 billion. Thus, its growth is about 15% annually. Among factors of growth business mobilization, transfer of a part of IT assets to clouds are called – all this requires entering of amendments into business processes.
