Association of the sea trade ports of Russia

The association of the sea trade ports of Russia is created in 1988 and integrates more than 50 industry organizations and the enterprises of the marine transport of Russia. The leading sea trade ports, the shipping and agency companies, research institutes and educational institutions of the marine transport are its part.

Activity

The association is created for the purpose of coordination of activity of the members, full, business cooperation among themselves, rendering assistance in expansion of opportunities of their production and social development, protection of legitimate rights and the interests of members of Association.

For achievement of the authorized purposes the Association according to the current legislation of the Russian Federation performs:

• assistance on increase in efficiency of the organizations of port infrastructure;
• assistance in consolidation of efforts of her members for the solution of industry, cross-industry and regional tasks of effective use of potential production of the organizations of seaports of Russia, the joint solution of scientific and technical problems of operation of the organizations of seaports of Russia, development of cooperation with business partners;
• implementation of measures for activation of participation of members of Association in improvement and development of the legal base of regulation of the economic relations, on implementation in domestic practice of the international standards and rules directed to achievement of economic and social progress;
• ensuring coordination of actions of members of Association in implementation of social programs, charity;
• organization of independent public examination of drafts of laws and other regulations for regulation of the economic, production, social and labor relations;
• assistance on development of production capacities of seaports;
• rendering assistance on quality improvement of the scientific and design developments executed by scientific and design institutes, increase in their responsibility for developments.
