Was born on April 19, 1939 in the village of Drabovo of Drabovsky district of the Cherkassk region of the Ukrainian SSR.

1960 - graduated from the Lviv polytechnical institute majoring in "The mechanical engineer of chemical productions".

Also graduated from the Academy of Social Sciences (ASS) at the Central Committee of the CPSU.

Career

1989 - headed the State agrochemical association "Agrokhim".
