Ex-Deputy Prime Minister of the government of the Republic of Kalmykia. Brother of the ex-president of Kalmykia Kirsan Ilyumzhinov.

Biography

The ASSR was born on August 14, 1958 in Elista Kalmyk. [1]

Education

Graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MSIIR), Academy of public service.

Career

Vyacheslav Ilyumzhinov began a labor way with the electrospinner at the Zvezda plant, then was at Komsomol work.

From 1985 to 1993 V. Ilyumzhinov is an employee of the MFA of Kalmykia.

After election of the brother - Kirsan Ilyumzhinov - the president of Kalmykia Vyacheslav Ilyumzhinov held positions of the state councilor on ideologies and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kalmykia.

Since 1995 Ilyumzhinov - the member of the International union of economists - the General consultant of economic and social Council of the UN.

After murder on June 6, 1998 of the Chief Editor of the Soviet Kalmykia Today newspaper Larisa Yudina among suspects of the organization of this crime Vyacheslav Ilyumzhinov and the chairman of National bank of Kalmykia Vyacheslav Darbakov were called (according to the Center of extreme journalism).

At the beginning of the 2000th years V. Ilyumzhinov was the deputy governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug of Vladimir Butov. Since 2006 - the chairman of the board of directors of SAR LLC.

On November 8, 2010 the new Governor of Kalmykia Alexey Orlov signed the decree "About the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kalmykia" according to which the post of the first Deputy Prime Minister was held by Vyacheslav Ilyumzhinov.

It is dismissed in September, 2012.

The author of a number of publications on economic subject. In 2003 the Moscow Institute of economic strategy published the book by V. Ilyumzhinov "the NAO: resources and future. Trajectory of the oil region: the directory, analytical guide for managers".
