Content

The Compulink group implements the project on creation of IP-telefonii network in branched structure of VTB 24.

Start

The telephone network existing earlier in bank was heterogeneous that complicated issues of scaling, upgrades and administrations, complicated processes of service and integration into other applications. It was required to create the VoIP-telephone network with uniform infrastructure and providing operational remote control integrating not less than 62 regional operational offices and over 500 additional offices.

The implementation project of the IP telephony is begun by specialists of Compulink Group more than five years ago and is important for bank. The new corporate VoIP-telephone network allowed to organize a high-quality communication between Head office and all territorial subdivisions, provided a possibility of economy on long-distance telephone negotiations and also provided to IT specialists modern and convenient telecommunication system in management.

Solution

Staff of Department of banking and information technologies of VTB 24 jointly with specialists of Compulink Group was engaged in implementation. The integrator offered the plan of step-by-step upgrade of network and its development as single geographically distributed telephone system. The equipment supplier selects Avaya company.

Details

The architecture of network designed by integrator for bank has the central focused topology with multilevel subordination at which the core of network consisting of three stations is located in Moscow. Basic branches and regional offices are connected to the communication center for corporate VoIP-channels VoIP and to a public telephone network. At additional offices automatic telephone exchanges of Avaya IP Office, and in points numbering less than 5 people – IP phones are set. Such structure allows bank to solve effectively problems of management, control and traffic handling, interaction with nodes of network, integration into applications of contact center, CTI, databases and information systems.

"The constructed telecommunication system not only proved the viability and compliance to the selected IT strategy of bank in practice, but also allowed to keep within a framework of budgets of head office and regional representative offices", – the Vice president of Compulink Group Gennady Kuznetsov noted.
