"Confidant" improved an accounting method with "1C: Management of the construction organization"

The department of automation of construction companies "1C: Accounting and Trade" represents project deliverables in Konfident construction company. Creation of an end-to-end system based on "1C: Management of the construction organization" allowed to strengthen rod business processes of the construction organization for short term. Among results - an exception of duplication of data, gain of financial controlling and improvement of material accounting on objects.

"Confidant" works 20 years at the Russian market. The company is the large system integrator offering services in the following directions: design and installation of the systems of engineering support of buildings, information security support of business and data protection, operation and maintenance of the engineering systems. On the account of the company more than 2500 objects in Russia and neighboring countries.

Long time all tasks of accounting, supply and management of finance in Konfident company were solved using spreadsheets and different software products. However at modern growth rate of the company and the market, such method of the organization of work became unacceptable. The main shortcomings of a former method of solving of tasks were: labor input of fixation and data processing, high risk of errors at information analysis from different sources, complexity at inventory management and enterprise resource planning. For harmonious work of all divisions the centralized system capable to consider features of the construction industry was required.

For business process automation for short term the software solution from family 1C was considered. The Konfident company entrusted selection and system implementation to specialists "1C: Accounting and Trade" on whose account wide experience of successful project implementation in the field of automation of the construction enterprises.

After inspection of key processes in Konfident company the suitable software solution was picked up. The product "1C became it: Management of the construction organization". The choice was caused by functionality of a system which allows to automate all structural divisions of the company at the same time.

Implementation took place in two stages. 35 jobs are as a result automated. Now users work in the following subsystems:

  • Accounting;
  • Sales management;
  • Purchase management;
  • Cash management;
  • Inventory management.
  • Production management
  • Budgeting

On each of subsystems for employees Confidant training was provided and necessary methodical support at all stages of implementation is given. Now regular maintenance of a system is performed.

Use of an industry system gives to Konfident company the following advantages:

  • The transparency and reliability of accounting increased. Thanks to automation of accounting processes at the enterprise, the service of accounting has all necessary data for exact reflection of business activities.
  • The management has an opportunity to perform financial controlling. A system provides continuous accounting of resources and transparency of calculations that allows to estimate quickly the current situation and to perform long-term planning.
  • Duplication of data is excluded. Earlier in accounting there were cases of repeated information input that created risk of errors in the analysis and reporting. Existence of a single system in which all divisions at the same time work promoted obtaining real actual information.
  • Supply chain management is optimized. Now sales management, purchases and stocks is performed through a system "by 1C: Management of the construction organization" that allows to monitor existence of necessary resources for carrying out construction works, timely to fill up the volume of required materials, to analyze demand and to perform planning on future periods.


The project manager from Konfident company comments: "The organization of accounting processes using implementation of an industry system promoted remedial action, connected with labor input and inaccuracy.
