Rostelecom Urals and nuclear heating plant company completed the project on increase in level of personal data protection

On April 23, 2012 the macroregional branch "Ural" of national telecommunication company "Rostelecom" and nuclear heating plant company (Advanced System Technologies), the system integrator specializing in solutions in the field of information security announced project completion of creation of a system of personal data protection (SZPDN), processed in an information system of the telecom operator.

The ZPDN system provides timely detection and prevention of unauthorized access to personal data, exercises constant control of level of their security, does not allow impacts on technical means of automated personal data processing. For quality improvement of personal data protection as a part of the solution the system of centralized operation is implemented by events of information security. Created SZPDN meets the requirements of normative and methodical documents of FSTEC of Russia. One of distinctive features of the ZPDN system is its geographically-distributed structure and complexity. As a result of project implementation the level of security of personal data information systems Rostelecom Urals is increased.

The subsystem of the centralized monitoring and event management of information security became the key subsystem SZPDN providing compliance to security requirements and protection against internal and external threats. The subsystem controls events from a set of sources on all MRF "Ural" and allows to carry out the analysis and correlation of events of security for the purpose of identification of business and technology threats.

For ensuring secure access of mobile users to corporate resources through the Internet in MRF "Ural" the subsystem of the protected remote access is built. Flexible in management and a convenient technology basis of the solution in use FSB of Russia as means of protecting from unauthorized access is certified.

The subsystem of control of actions of users at the addressing databases is constructed by specialists of nuclear heating plant on the unique technology of dynamic profiling allowing to create and control automatically politicians of access at the level of requests to databases ISPDN. At the same time work of a subsystem has no impact on process of work and performance of the protected systems. With its help specialists of MFR "Ural" will be able to carry out the analysis of security of elements of network infrastructure and timely to detect invasions into the IC, for example, on the DB servers or Web servers.
