JSC Mobile TeleSystems provided to road and patrol and services of police patrol and on point duty of Kaliningrad the protected remote access to the federal integrated databank.

In particular, traffic police officers and PPS can check the suspect on site incidents, including its passport and other data, learn whether the vehicle is registered in stealing, to verify number of weapon, other number things, etc.

"At data transmission via a secure channel of communication an opportunity for strangers to get access to a databank is completely excluded. The service of mobile secure remote access - APN which advantages were already estimated by many corporate clients of MTS in the Kaliningrad region and through the whole country allows to provide such high degree of safety of data transmission. The number of the subscribers using this service in the Kaliningrad region increased in a year by 2.7 times", - the director of the branch of MTS "Northwest" Kirill Dmitriyev noted.

Earlier, to check such data, the employee of patrol service had to contact police station. Now use of the most modern communication services will allow the staff of patrol services to work more quickly and will increase efficiency of their work", - the chief Tyla of Regional Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia across the Kaliningrad region the colonel of internal service Andrey Salin noted

The service "The protected data transmission (APN) allows to increase information security and mobility of business, providing the protected remote access of data. APN (Access Point Name) is the protocol under which the user gets access to data transmission.

The service is intended for the companies for which the protected remote access to resources of the company (information, to the equipment, transport) and data exchange between them is necessary, for example:

• banks and payment systems - for contact with ATMs and payment terminals,
• energy, raw, construction companies and municipal services - for information transfer from the sensors installed on objects
• logistic and transport companies - for control of cargo transportation of movement of transport, courier services, the systems of navigation for the taxi, vehicle fleets,
• the security companies - for the protected data transmission, signaling.
