Beltel built a single telephone network for the dealer centers of Velikan Group. The official dealer centers of such automobile brands as Ford, Toyota, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Volvo and some other are a part of Velikan group.
Earlier in each dealer center there was the communication system providing functions of call acceptance, autoinforming and universal mail. Connection of each DTs with the PSTN was provided using a separate communication channel.
The audit of telecommunication infrastructure of holding booked when opening the new center and the need of its installation of telephones which arose at the same time, showed that the existing UPATS are outdated, accumulation of functionality and expansion on their base is impossible.
The Beltel system integrator offered the way of upgrade consisting in consolidation of automatic telephone exchange of the dealer centers in one joint automatic telephone exchange for providing communication services of four dealer centers at once.
The network with the general a reception which fault tolerance is provided using mechanisms of geographical reservation of the managing equipment was as a result built. Technical base of network is the distributed UPATS of Avaya Communication Server 1000E.
All individual communication channels connecting DTs to a public telephone network are united in the general bunch of lines with reduction of their total quantity. Availability of channels and reliability of connection to the PSTN at the same time increased, and the cost of subscription of channels decreased.
Among other advantages reached as a result of upgrade it is possible to select: uniform point of management and administration; lack of need to register and support rules of network routing (the network numerical plan) for calls between subscribers of different DTs; the flexibility when using subscriber licenses – any license of the joint automatic telephone exchange can be used in any DTs.
Besides, now requirements of the dealer centers of all brands are provided with one server of the universal CallPilot mail and one speech payment of MIRAN. The released systems of autoinforming and mail are sent for expansion of functionality of automatic telephone exchange of other DTs of group in regions of the Russian Federation that allowed to save essential funds for their re-equipment.
