Solution for monitoring and control (temperatures and tension). EQUICOM

This set of devices and EQUICOM sensors allows to organize remote monitoring of temperature and presence of tension 220B in network and also far off to control access to an anti-vandal telecommunication equipment cabinet. The PING2-knock device can monitor a status of network segments of Ethernet in the automatic mode and is equipped with the shock sensor.

EQUICOM PING2-knock device.

The device with the built-in shock sensor, and a connectivity of several external sensors for control. These devices are shapers of test UDP packets with support of the IEEE 802.1Q VLAN tags, the possibility of acceptance of packets is absent.  For acceptance and the analysis of UDP of packets  the free PINGSTAT program (Linux 32/64, FreeBSD 32/64) is offered which acts as SNMP the agent also creates the web page (see a sample) . Through SNMP it is possible to integrate with the managing systems, such as Zabbix , Nagios, MRTG, Cacti , PRTG Network Monitor, Tivoli, HP OpenView, Wratsup, Big Brother, Castle Rock, OpenNMS, etc.  

Temperature sensor.

The temperature sensor can control far off a status of temperature of the controlled equipment (servers, switches, etc.). Operating ranges for temperature measurement-40 + 120C. It is possible to configure the device thus if temperature of the server exceeded the set temperature framework, then SNMP a ladder will be created (up to 5 different addresses) and will send warnings until receives from you confirmation on obtaining the message. The temperature sensor is connected in the special connector by AN for it.

The sensor of presence of tension 220B in network. This sensor is connected in the socket to the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and in the PING2-knock device the EXT connector. As soon as tension is gone in network the sensor will give a signal to the device, and it will already work how you programmed the SNMP program - the agent of PINGSTAT (e-mail, the SMS, SNMP trap and SNMP). Opening/closing sensor.

The sensor of opening/closing allows to control access to an anti-vandal telecommunication cabinet as soon as the door of a cabinet is open magnetic contacts of the sensor to be opened and thus will announce the device the fact of opening of a door of an anti-vandal cabinet. Read further>>> 

Shock sensor (built-in). This sensor is built already in the EQUICOM PING2-knock device therefore additional wires are not required. It will announce that someone tries to get into an anti-vandal telecommunication cabinet. The sensor can be configured independently on sensitivity and to check visually (there is a light diode).
