NVision changes Cisco in VimpelCom for Juniper

The Nvision Group company started at the beginning of 2012 upgrade of a high-speed data network (IP/MPLS) of the Big European Ring (BER) for the telecom operator VimpelCom (a trademark Beeline).

On 7 network points of BEK (two in Moscow, on one in Ufa, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd and Nizhny Novgorod) the existing network equipment of Cisco Systems will be until the end of the year replaced and installed new productions Juniper Networks. It will allow to increase the power of transport infrastructure of the operator, to expand functionality, to increase performance and reliability of nodes of network.

In a set-up time of the solution on the project of upgrade of BEK the team of engineers of NVision Group and Juniper Networks held working meetings with representatives of technical divisions of JSC VimpelCom for discussion of development plans for the company and long-term perspectives of expansion of capacity of trunks. As a result specialists offered upgrade of the existing network of the operator on a technology line of Juniper Networks of series MX. Successful modeling of network and testing of this equipment in Nvision Group laboratory met all requirements of VimpelCom and allowed to position Juniper MX as the most perspective platform for upgrade.
