The company 1C":Accounting and" Trade(BIT) completed in early 2012 the project of automation of the OJSC enterprise "OLS-OL Control" using the solution "1C: Management of a construction organization 8." The system made it possible to control costs for individual construction objects. The accuracy of calculating the cost of work has increased. Operational warehousing has been organized, including the accounting of materials transferred for processing to third parties. Materials are delivered to construction facilities on time. Internal documentation and orders to suppliers are issued twice as quickly.

OJSC "VOLS-VL Management" is a subsidiary of IDGC Holding - the largest electric grid company in the world. OJSC "VOLS-VL Management" was established in 2011 specifically for the construction of fiber-optic communication lines (VOLS) on the Holding's overhead transmission lines (VL). The potential of OJSC "VOLS-VL Management" is two million kilometers of KhMRSK infrastructure. To date, the company's portfolio includes agreements with the largest cellular operators for the construction of several thousand kilometers of fiber-optic power lines.

Previously, operational, production and personnel accounting, as well as payroll at the enterprise were not automated. Management accounting was kept in spreadsheets. Internal documentation and specific reports were generated manually. Considering that about 100-150 different documents are formed at the enterprise every day, this took a lot of time. It was impossible to track the costs of the enterprise for individual construction objects, which caused difficulties in calculating the cost. It was not possible to control the movement of materials transferred for processing to subcontractors. Management did not receive operational information about the activities of the enterprise, it was difficult to control the production process, plan expenses and cash receipts.

Management decided to introduce a new information system that would cope with existing difficulties. To create such a system, the software product "1C: Construction Organization Management 8" was selected, corresponding to the company's industry specialization. The implementation partner was 1C: Accounting and Trade (BIT), which has successful experience in automating enterprises in the construction industry.

As a result of the project, the activities of production services, warehouse, financial department, accounting, commercial department, human resources department and payroll were fully automated. Operational accounting of production costs is organized. It became possible to control expenses and financial results for individual construction objects.

The accuracy of the cost estimate has increased. This allowed management to manage pricing policies more flexibly and plan for future spending.

It became possible to quickly control warehouse balances and keep accurate records of materials transferred for processing to third-party organizations. The scheme of work with applications for the purchase of materials has been fully automated. Orders to vendors are formed in several stages. First, a preliminary order is formed, on the basis of which the material manufacturer plans his production program for half a year, then, in accordance with the preliminary design documentation, a clarifying order for a month is formed, and an adjustment order is formed on the basis of the final specification. At the same time, errors and loss of information during acceptance and transfer of applications are excluded. Materials are promptly delivered to construction facilities.

All specific reporting forms and internal documentation (title lists for construction, specifications, estimates, internal orders, contracts, reconciliation acts, inventory lists, etc.) are filled in automatically. Employees got rid of the need to perform routine operations manually, it takes much less time to form documents than before.

The human resources management and payroll capabilities realized in the system made it possible to introduce an employee evaluation system in the company and apply a new bonus scheme that takes into account both the achievement of established performance indicators (KPIs) by employees and the results of certification. Payroll data is automatically sent to employees by e-mail. Staff loyalty to the company has increased.

Gulsina Sharifullovna, Economics Director of OJSC VOLS-VL Gnoevaya, notes: "We are pleased with the results of the implementation of the 1C: Construction Organization Management 8 system. As a result of the project, the efficiency of warehouse and production accounting has significantly increased. It became possible to control the costs of the enterprise for individual construction facilities. As a result, the volume of costs is reduced, on average, by 10-15%. Materials go into production uninterrupted. Management receives timely information about the current operations of the enterprise and can plan future financial results with a high degree of reliability. "
