The Avtotreker system in Transkomstroy company on construction of facilities of the Sochi Olympic Games

The Russian Navigation Technologies (RNT) company announced in May, 2012 end of system implementation of a GLONASS/GPS of monitoring and control of Avtotreker transport in the Transkomstroy LLC company participating in construction of facilities of the Winter Olympic Games of 2014 (Sochi).
In difficult conditions of the mountain area Transkomstroy creates a modern complex from five springboards, the media center and the Olympic media village located on marks +540 and +960 of meters above sea level. Let's note that the media village is included into the Mountain Carousel sports and holiday complex, one of key objects of alpine skiing infrastructure of the Winter Olympic Games-2014. Besides, the company conducts construction and the equipment of a number of infrastructure facilities – for the subsequent placement of services of material and administrative ensuring construction of the specified Olympic venues.
In Transkomstroy company the Avtotreker system had to increase intensity of use of transport and provide continuous control of the movement CU and economy of fuel and lubricants. Selecting a monitoring system, the customer considered both its functional characteristics, and reputation of the supplier, presence of experience of interaction at it with the Transport Directorate of the Olympic Games (TDOG). Also positive experience of already implemented projects in Russia and directly to Sochi and existence in this city of the representation capable to provide the first qualified after-sale line support of a system was considered. Let's note that the supplier had to meet extremely short time of delivery and installation of equipment, to carry out works without violation of the diagram of use of motor transport of the customer.
On all onboard Avtotreker blocks and the equipment allowing to control a consumption of fuel and lubricants and an operating time of engine hours were installed to the CU of the customer. As a result, system implementation Avtotreker and transfer of control of transport on objective data allowed to expand and make more effective all control system of work of the CU in transport department of Transkomstroy LLC company and also to increase efficiency of information exchange in transport department of work of the CU and control of fuel and lubricants. Interesting feature of the created solution is automatic transfer of telematic information from the monitoring system server on the TDOI server that is necessary for obtaining admissions on movements on the Olympic construction venues.
"The intensity of works on construction of facilities of the Olympic Games is very high. Having unrolled full-scale projects of creation of the most difficult sporting and infrastructure facilities, we quickly reached a boundary when the traditional technology of control of transport does not allow to increase intensity of all production chain any more. And we calculated that the Avtotreker system will lift this limit, – Sergey Sergeyevich Batazhanov, the head of transport department of Transkomstroy LLC says. – And it turned out, the solution is created in the stipulated terms, and we are happy with results of cooperation with RNT".
